The C. T. Bauer College of Business Administration and the Cullen College of Engineering at the University of Houston offer a concurrent degree program that enables students to prepare for careers in which the understanding of both engineering science and business studies is critical. This program provides students with the opportunity to complete the degree requirements for the Master of Business Administration and the Master of Industrial Engineering in a shorter period of time than if the two degrees were pursued separately.

Applicant should have a 4 year baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited college or university prior to beginning graduate studies; credentials documenting completed prerequisite academic work that gives evidence of ability to pursue a graduate program in their chosen area. They should have earned a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) equivalent to at least 3.0 out of 4.0 (or B) in your previous undergraduate college-level course work; evidence of satisfactory English Proficiency and evidence of ability for F-1 and J-1 visa holders to maintain a full course of study while at the university. The GRE scores should be in the high 600's (GRE score = Quantitative and Verbal). They should have official TOEFL scores of 100 on the internet-based test, 250 on the computer-based test, or 603 on the paper-based test.

Applicant can submit the application form through online with a payment of $150 application fee (by check payable to the University of Houston). They should submit two official transcripts from all higher education institutions attended; official GRE scores; two letters of recommendation from academics, employers or professionals; resume and goal statement. They should also submit official TOEFL score of 100 on the internet-based test, 250 on the computer-based test, or 603 on the paper-based test and scores over 2 years old will not be accepted; Degree Clarification Form; Statement of Understanding; Transfer Form; Overseas Address Form; Letter of Financial Banking; Permission Release Form and two Passport photos. These documents must send to University of Houston; Office of International Admissions; 122 E. Cullen; Houston, TX 77204-2023.

The residential halls include Moody Towers, Quadrangle, Cougar Place and some privately owned halls are Cullen Oaks and Bayou Oaks. The student housing ranges from traditional single or double dorm rooms to suite-style halls to fully furnished on-campus apartments. All facilities are equipped with up-to-date amenities including cable TV and Ethernet connectivity. Apartment options also have kitchens. The cost for these rooms can be checked at http://www.housing.uh.edu/roomrates.htm. Meal plans are flexible and students can choose a weekly or semester meal allowance. The university offers world-class exercise equipment and facilities for an assortment of recreational activities. It is a great place to indulge the senses with a performance or an art exhibit. Stages on campus host dance, musical, and theatrical performances throughout the year. Students have a variety of options for parking on campus. In addition, several METRO bus routes serve the campus. METRO Van Pool services are also available for students who would like to get to know other commuters on the way to school.
