The M.A. (Theological Studies) provides a broad background in theological study. It offers particular opportunities for multidisciplinary studies and may be crafted to suit the interests of individual students (e.g., lay ministries, feminist theological studies, urban ministries, social change). The goals of this degree include: Theological education to explore spiritual, vocational, or religious issues for personal or professional enrichment. Preparation for ministries within or related to churches that do not require practical specialization or ordination.

Application Fee: Submit a $50 check or money order made payable to Andover Newton Theological School. This fee is non-refundable, Application Form: Complete the application for admission thoroughly, including your signature, date and entry point, Reflections Essay: Address all areas listed on the application form, where you will find detailed instructions. The required length for the Refl ections Essay/Statement is fi ve to ten double-spaced pages, Official Transcripts: All offi cial transcripts of academic work completed since high school are required, Letters of Recommendation: Three letters of recommendation are required.
