My area of specialization was in Finite Element Analysis. I had applied to other universities like Univ of Cincinnati, Lousiana State Univ, Univ of Akron, Villanova Univ, and Cleveland State Univ. At Clemson Univ the research facilities are way above the rest. I communicated with a prof working at the Uni whose area of research was similar to mine. He encouraged me to apply at Clemson. This university was a tad more expensive, but on completing the program I feel its really worth it.

I wrote my GRE, TOEFL. My score were quite good and though I did have a backlog in my UG Id cleared it with good grades, so getting a visa was no problem for me.

My Dad sponsored my education as I did not avail of any scholarships.

The program costed me around $28,500 per year pretty expensive. But the superb teaching and research facilities made it worth while.
