I gave the GRE and TOEFL exams. I prepared for these using Barrons and online resources mainly for verbal. I obtained a F1 visa, which is easy to get as long as you show funds for education and speak clearly. I flew Lufthansa which allowed three bags. I did not face any immigration issues.

The course is tough and challenging which makes it nice to study. The library is huge and has everything you need. The funding is little tough but it is improving. There are GA’s, RA’s and TA’s available for the students. The winters get really cold. There are many student organizations and lot of activities on and off campus.

The job scenario is changing and by the time I graduate the opportunities should be plenty. The alumni association is helpful in placements.
