I wrote GRE, TOEFL. I took mock tests at an institute. I attended coaching classes. F1 visa was required. Visa was not that good, they asked me to come again. I took it through the internet, from Delhi to Chicago. There's a lot of distance between the 2 cities. I flew by Quantas Airline. No student fare, 2 baggages + hand baggage. I took another flight to reach Rochester from Chicago.

The course is flexible. Professors are good. Library, halls are excellent.

I live off campus. Weather is cold. Part time jobs are scarce. Yes many organizations help with the placement cell for the students. They help with orientation of students.
